Customer Background & Requirements

The customer required a rugged industrial-grade signal transducer capable of converting a 0–10 V analog input to a 4–20 mA current output with galvanic isolation. The device needed to offer high accuracy, low noise, and excellent linearity, suitable for use in industrial process control and automation systems. Key requirements included input/output isolation, wide operating voltage range, surge protection, and compact PCB design for DIN rail mounting.

Solution Provided by Electrobit Technology:

Electrobit Technology designed and developed a precision hardware module that converts a 0–10 V voltage signal into a proportional 4–20 mA current output. The design incorporates high-quality isolation circuitry between input, output, and power domains to ensure safe and accurate operation in electrically noisy industrial environments. The transducer provides excellent linearity, temperature stability, and fast response time, making it ideal for industrial instrumentation applications. Service Provided This project focused on hardware design, schematic development, PCB layout, and prototype validation.
